Delivery types and their fee

For owners and managers · updated 18 Oct 2026

Make up as many delivery and pickup types as you like (Standard, Express, an office lunch drop, catering), each with when it's offered, how it's timed, who delivers and its own fee.

Back office Settings Delivery Types

  1. + New type, give it a name, choose a delivery or a pickup.
  2. Guests read: the line under its name ("On its way first · 25–30 min").
  3. Available: the days, the hours and how far.
  4. Timing: as soon as possible, a time guests pick, or fixed drop times; a limit per 15 minutes; First out puts it first on the board.
  5. Delivered by and At the door: own drivers or partners; cash, card or QR; handed over or left at the door; a photo at the door.
  6. The fee, top to bottom: the Base (from Areas & fees, or a flat amount), then any parts you add: a flat amount, a small-order fee, a fee switched on at the till (rain), a % of the food, a fee by order value, a lowest and highest. Free delivery (an area's or band's "free over") waives the base, or everything if you choose.
  7. Try an address on the right: type any address and see the fee step by step, the time, and every type the guest would see.

Example

Express

Express: +$4.00, up to 8 km, at most 4 every 15 minutes, first out. For 12 Lake St with $29 of food: Inner $5 + Express $4 = $9; $1 more of food makes the base free and the guest pays $4.

Example

Catering

Catering: 24 hours ahead, minimum order $200, fee 10% of the food (at least $25), delivered by your own van only.

Can a type be for signed-in guests only, or only some days?

Yes: Available sets the days, hours and distance. A type that isn't on now isn't shown to guests.

Does Express still cost extra when delivery is free?

By default free delivery waives only the base, so Express's own $4 stays. Choose Waives everything on the Free delivery line to make it all free.

If it goes wrong

"Try an address" says maps aren't set up

Address search and road distances need Tillmora's maps service. If you see this, tell Tillmora support.
