Take a phone delivery

For everyone · updated 18 Oct 2026

The guest's details, the address and the fee sit beside the menu, so you take the order and the delivery in one go.

Till Deliveries Phone delivery (or Delivery on the tables)

  1. Type the guest's phone number. A guest you know shows their card: name, how many deliveries, allergies, and their saved addresses.
  2. Tap a saved address, or Another address and start typing it; pick it from the list. Add the unit, gate code and a note for the driver.
  3. Choose the delivery type if you have more than one (Standard, Express…).
  4. The fee shows straight away, worked out like your page does. Add dishes from the menu; when the food passes your free-delivery amount the fee drops to free by itself.
  5. Choose how they'll pay at the door: Cash (and the note they'll pay with, so the driver brings change), Card, or Paid now.
  6. Send to the kitchen as usual. The docket prints for the bag.

On a waiter phone

The guest and the address are in a strip under the order's name: Add the guest and where it goes. A new delivery opens it by itself; tap the strip to change it later.

Example

A regular calls

Priya calls from 0412 555 018. Her card shows her nut allergy and two saved addresses, Home and Mum's. Same as last time? offers butter chicken (no nuts), 2 garlic naan and a mango lassi: tap Add all. Home is 1.2 km, so $5, but the food is $41, over $30: Delivery free.

Example

Change for a $50

Asha's order comes to $34. She'll pay cash with a $50 note: tap Cash › Change for $50. The docket says "CASH · change for $50 → give $16.00".

The internet is down. Can I still take a delivery?

Yes. Postcode and suburb areas price themselves on the till. For a distance band, the fee box asks you to pick the band; the order shows "fee set by hand". Type the address in by hand, too.

Can I change the fee?

Staff with Change the delivery fee tap Change fee and type the amount; others need a manager's PIN. Back to the usual fee undoes it.

If it goes wrong

"Add where it goes first"

The order has no address yet. Choose a saved address or tap Another address before sending.
