QR ordering at your tables
Switch QR ordering on for a branch, choose who accepts orders and when guests can order, and print the codes.
Back office Settings Tables and QR codes
- Turn QR ordering on for the branch. Off, guests can see the menu but not order.
- Who accepts orders: Your team (each order waits for a tap on a till) or Automatically (it goes straight to the kitchen; if that till is offline, your team accepts).
- Choose the Till that accepts and prints, and the Sound on tills (Chime, Bell or Off).
- Guests can start a table: Any free table can order, or Staff open the table first.
- Set Alert if not accepted in, Check big orders over, and Phone ordering hours.
- Choose what Guests can ask for behind one "Ask staff" button (Call staff, The bill, Cutlery, Water, or your own words).
- Optional: Ask for a first name (shown on the kitchen ticket).
Example
A full-service restaurant
Your team accepts, on the Counter till with a Chime. Staff open the table first, so a guest can't order from an empty table. Alert if not accepted in 2 minutes; check big orders over 5.000. Phone ordering from 12:00 to 22:30. Guests can ask for: Call staff, The bill, Water.
Example
A café with self-service
Automatically accepted, Any free table can order, ordering while the branch is open. Guests order a coffee from table 3, and it prints at the counter straight away.
Are QR prices different?
They're the same as dine-in. For a different QR price, set it on the dish in Menu (price list "QR").
What do guests see when ordering is paused?
Your words, for example "Please order at the counter." or "Please ask our staff to take your order."
If it goes wrong
"Not part of your account yet"
QR ordering isn't switched on for your account. Ask Tillmora support to add it.
