What guests see at the table
The page a guest opens from the table's QR code: your ordering page made for their table, so it looks like ordering online.
Guest's phone scan the QR code on the table
- The top is your cover, with Kitchen open (or Not taking orders right now when phone ordering is paused) and Ask staff.
- Under it, Table T4 · you order here, and So far with what the table has ordered once something is accepted. Tapping So far shows the table.
- Tonight's favourites (or Today's) are your most-ordered dishes of the last 14 days. Veg only hides other dishes. The tabs follow the menu as the guest scrolls.
- + adds a dish without choices in one tap; a dish with sizes or add-ons opens its sheet. The bar at the bottom says View order · Not sent yet until it's sent.
- Your order is a receipt: each dish with a line for a note (and your quick notes), this round, what's Already at the table, and Table so far. Send to the kitchen sends it to your team. Offers show under it, worked out as dishes change: one on the order has Remove; one that can't be combined has Use this instead; one taken off has Add back. An offer the guest takes off is left out of the table's bill.
- After sending, the guest sees Sent · Checked · Cooking · At your table, the table so far (a dish you couldn't make is struck through with why), and who is bringing what they asked for. Then Ask for the bill or Order more.
- A call (bill, water, staff) shows in a card at the bottom: who is bringing it, then Done. It closes by itself a few seconds after it's done, and × closes it any time.
Example
Round two at T4
T4 already has a Paneer Tikka and 2 Butter Naan, 400. A guest adds a Dal Makhani and 2 Garlic Naan: the bar says "3 · Not sent yet · 350". Your order shows this round 350, already at the table 400, table so far 750. They tap Send to the kitchen; the phone shows "Your server is checking it". Your till accepts, and it moves to Cooking; when the kitchen bumps the ticket and a waiter marks it taken, At your table.
Does the guest pay on their phone?
No. Tax is added on the bill and they pay at the end, as usual.
Why does it stay on Cooking with no kitchen screen?
At your table comes from the kitchen screen's bump and the till's Taken. With printers only, the phone stops at Cooking.
Where does Tonight's favourites come from?
What the branch sold most in the last 14 days. A new branch shows none until it has sales.
If it goes wrong
The guest says the + buttons are faded
Phone ordering is paused (outside Phone ordering hours, or the till that accepts is offline). The note tells them to ask your staff. It comes back by itself.
