Offers on the till
Automatic offers apply by themselves. On the till, staff can see what's on today, add a code, take an offer off, or give one that staff choose.
Till (an order) Offers
- Open the order and tap Offers.
- ON THIS ORDER shows what's applied. Take it off if the guest doesn't want it (the order goes up by its amount); Put it back to undo.
- A code? Type it under A CODE (for example WELCOME10) and Apply.
- First-order and once-per-guest offers need the GUEST'S PHONE: type it and Save.
- Offers on today lists what's running; for an offer staff choose, tap Give it.
- CLOSE TO AN OFFER shows what's missing ("Add 49 more for 20% off").
Example
A code from a flyer
A guest shows a flyer with WELCOME10. Offers › A CODE, type WELCOME10, Apply: 10% off this order, and the code can't be used again if it was single-use.
Why would a guest take an offer off?
Sometimes a guest prefers to keep a dish à la carte, or wants to save a once-only offer for later. Taking it off is recorded.
If it goes wrong
The code isn't accepted
Check the spelling, that the offer is on now for this kind of order, and that a single-use code hasn't been used already. Applying a code also needs the permission to apply codes.
