Set up a kiosk
Connect a tablet as a kiosk, then choose how it takes orders.
Back office Devices Connect a screen Kiosk
- On the tablet, open Tillmora. It shows a QR.
- Scan it with your phone, choose More… › Kiosk and give it a name (for example "Front door").
- Tap Connect. The tablet locks to the kiosk.
- Open Settings › Kiosk and set it up:
- Take orders at the kiosk (off, the kiosk says "Please order at the counter");
- When paid: send to the kitchen when the guest pays at the counter, or as soon as they order;
- Ask eat in or take away (prices and offers can differ, as on the till);
- Ask for a name (called with the order number);
- Offer meal deals ("Make it a meal?");
- Show Easy reach for guests who can't reach the top of the screen;
- Start over after a time with no touch;
- Kiosk orders from and until (empty means while the branch is open);
- limits: Most dishes in one kiosk order, Most of one dish, and Flag kiosk orders over.

Eat in or take away: asked first. When paid: at the counter. Offer meal deals: on, so a Classic burger asks "Make it a meal?" with chips and a drink. Start over after 90 seconds. Flag orders over 150.
Can a kiosk run in a browser instead of the app?
Yes. In Devices, open the kiosk and make a browser link, then open it full screen on the tablet's browser. Keep it private: anyone with the link can order as this kiosk. Making a new link ends the old one.
Is there a service charge on kiosk orders?
Off by default, because guests order and collect by themselves. Turn on Service charge on kiosk orders to add it. A service charge the law requires is always added.
If it goes wrong
The kiosk says "Please order at the counter"
Take orders at the kiosk is off, or it's outside the kiosk hours. Check Settings › Kiosk.
